Cochin to Munnar (Approx. 4 hours drive) 

After a leisurely breakfast, drive to the scenic hill station of Munnar, located in the Western Ghats. Known for its lush tea plantations and cool climate, Munnar sits at the confluence of the Muthirappuzha, Nallathanni, and Kundaly rivers. 
Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax amid nature.

Enjoy breakfast, then proceed to explore Munnar’s key attractions. Start with the Tea Museum, which details the history and evolution of tea in the region. Visit Srishti Welfare Centre, an NGO empowering differently-abled individuals through creative initiatives. 
The afternoon is free for independent activities—perhaps a stroll through a tea estate or some local shopping.

Munnar to Periyar (Approx. 4 hours drive) 

After breakfast, depart for Periyar (Thekkady), famous for its wildlife and spice plantations. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. 
In the evening, enjoy a scenic boat ride on Periyar Lake, with chances to spot elephants, sambar deer, and a variety of birds along the water’s edge.

Start the day early with a Nature Walk through the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. These guided treks offer a fantastic opportunity to spot local flora and fauna, including butterflies, birds, and sometimes even larger wildlife. 
Later, visit a spice plantation to learn about Kerala’s famous spices like cardamom and pepper. Stroll through the local market for souvenirs and spices. 
In the evening, watch a live demonstration of Kalaripayattu, Kerala’s ancient martial art, followed by a cultural performance at your hotel.

Overnight in Periyar 

Periyar to Kumarakom (Approx. 4 hours drive) 

After breakfast, travel to the peaceful backwater village of Kumarakom, situated on the banks of Vembanad Lake. After checking in, take a small boat (Shikara) through the backwaters, gliding past lush paddy fields, coconut groves, and village homes. 
The rest of the day is at leisure to unwind in this tranquil setting.

After breakfast, enjoy a full day at leisure. You may choose to explore the area independently, relax at your resort, or indulge in Ayurvedic treatments. 
In the evening, enjoy a sunset cruise on Vembanad Lake, offering picturesque views of the Kerala backwaters.

After breakfast, depart for Marari, a serene beach destination known for its traditional fishing village charm. 
Check in to your beachside resort. Spend the day relaxing on the golden sands of Marari Beach, or opt for rejuvenating Ayurvedic wellness treatments (available on a direct payment basis).
